We're so close to making the next stretch goal! So close we can almost taste it!  

We're just a few dollarydoos away from hitting our next Stretch goal. So we thought we'd sweeten the deal with this ripper of a poster to get you going.  

Here's the exclusive preview of the brand new TY the Tasmanian Tiger Digital Comic Adventure that you've all help to bring to life.   Extinction was never an option for this Thylacine!

Hey! Wow! Thank you, backers!  This campaign is going off like a frog in a sock!

Stretch Goal #3 Unlocked!

With over $75,000 raised, we will now add a new ability to the Nintendo Switch (and other console versions when Stretch Goal 5 is reached).  Soon TY the Tasmanian Tiger will be able to have some new looks for you to play the game with.

Stretch Goal #4 - a new comic and new Cubees

We all still need your help though.  We're already getting close to the next stretch goal of $90,000.

When we reach that level, Steve Stamatiadis will create a brand new digital TY the Tasmanian Tiger comic for all backers (That's you!), and we'll also get three new Cubees.  

How can you help?  Please share about the Kickstarter on your social media channels.  You never know who else might be nostalgic for TY the Tasmanian Tiger.  They'll thank you!

New tier options (including cheaper tier for shorts)! PS4 and Xbox One Stretch Goal!

Hi all!

It’s been a beauty of a first week, and we’ve got some really exciting news to share with you.

TLDR Version:

• Updates to backing tiers from peoples’ feedback, including a mid-range tier with access to the shorts or necklace; and more opportunity to get drawings of YOU as a TY character.
• New stretch goals revealed for PS4 and Xbox One

Stretch Goals:

We’re gaining ground on the $75,000 stretch goal to unlock skins, but we’re also pleased to announce TWO new stretch goals today – one of which is the much-requested PS4 and Xbox One stretch goal.

$90,000

• At $90,000 we’re going to give all backers a brand new TY comic by Space Captain Steve (delivered digitally), containing a new TY adventure set after the events of TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4.
• Additionally, we’ll give all backers 3 x new TY Cubee layouts – for Shazza, Sly and Boss Cass. Expect the comic for Q1 2020, and the Cubee layouts before end of 2019!

$150,000

• And now the big one so many have been waiting for.... With the Switch remaster funded, we want to remaster TY the Tasmanian Tiger for the PS4 and Xbox One!
• If we meet this stretch goal, we’ll put on more people to work on the ports, so that we have all three versions (Switch, PS4 and Xbox One) ready to go for Q1 2020.
• If we meet this stretch goal, after the campaign concludes each backer who is entitled to a digital key will be able to select whether they want a key for Switch, PS4 or Xbox One via our pledge manager.
• We also plan to allow additional keys to be purchased post-campaign, via our pledge manager.

Tier Updates

We’ve had many people contact us about being upset at missing out on being able to get a version of themselves drawn as a TY character, as well as, people lamenting the inability to get the shorts or necklace without backing at the $250 level.

With that in mind, we have two changes today:

• A new $80 tier – Shiela’s Lost and Found Box. Backers at this tier will be able to choose one of either TY's shorts, or Sly's Necklace, and will also receive a digital copy of the game and your name in the credits. If you back at this tier, you’ll choose whether you want the shorts or the necklace via our pledge manager survey on completion of the campaign.
• We have increased the number of the Dennis $500 tier available to a limit of 40 (from 20).

We’ve also added in two more high-end tiers, with some exclusive goodies for people so inclined:

• $1,250 – Fluffy’s Fantastic Fortune. At this tier, you’ll get everything in the Dennis $500 tier, as well as, a limited edition TY statue, specially created for this Kickstarter. You will not be able to buy these statues as add-ons, after the campaign. Limited to 10.
• $5,000 – Boss Cass’ World Domination Plan. At this tier, you’ll get everything in the Fluffy’s Fantastic Fortune tier, as well as, ANOTHER custom statue… of the picture Space Captain Steve will draw of YOU! as a TY character. Limited to 2 only.

Next weekend, why not head out on a picnic?  Grab the esky, pack up some snags for the barbie, and don't forget the lollies and some pie for dessert. Speaking of pie, you may be curious about where your backer support is going to go, or maybe not. In full transparency, we’re sharing our costs with you. 

Please keep in mind these are estimates based off the current state of the campaign.   Since we don't yet have final physical good counts, these numbers also include some contingency for the physical goods.

We're currently sitting at around 65,000USD - so we're coming up on the skins stretch goal. We can't wait to fill you in on what is to come!

Well that's a pretty awesome sight to wake up to this morning!

Thank you to everybody who has pledged so far!  We are humbled and honored to have your support in bringing TY the Tasmanian Tiger to the Nintendo Switch.

LET'S STRETCH!

So next up is the $75,000USD stretch goal:

At this stretch goal, we'll add shorts customization... I mean character customization... to TY.

We'll have a selection of different skins to choose from, some of which will be unlocked as you play the game, some will be available from the moment you start playing. None of the skins will be locked behind "real money" expenditure (or even opal purchasing), and all skins will be available to all users (even those who buy the game at retail, from the eShop, when it is released) - ie, there will not be any "backer specific" skins.

The skins will be made by Space Captain Steve himself.
